its electricity passing through and burning the hair folicle. It feels like a little burning prick on your skin, and it does each hair one by one and is fairy cheap. you have to do thise about 6 or more times in sessions to permanantly kill the roots.
Seems like forever i’ve had hair trouble. I saw the NoNo! on ‘gratismakeupsamples’ – (the offer may still be on), bargain! Im really happy with it.
it’s bc it grows in stages. you can google al the stages hair goes through. hair can only be treated (electrocuted) when active.
Exactly. Laser only reduces, it doesn’t take hair away permanently.
They slide a probe into the hair folical, basically electrocutes it, and then removed the hair.
Laser is not always permanent. My friend had both their arms done and the hair on them grew back thicker. And this was at a dermatologist office.
so wait, does she pluck the hair one by one? im confused how does this work?
Actually, electrolysis is the only method of permanent hair removal approved by the FDA and they are taking action against companies that claim their laser systems stops hair growth forever. It will grow back eventually.. which means it also requires multiple treatments, but for the rest of your life and not just for 2 months (depending on what you have done).
electrolysis often has to be done multiple times to achieve permanent results. Where as laser is permanent. IF you have dark hair. If you have light hair, the laser will do nothing.
i think that a lot of people dont want to do electrolysis because its very labor intensive where as laser is quick and simple its a lot easier on the person doing it. but laser is not as effective as electrolysis.
I’m having electrolysis done and the lady who is working on me toldme that the hair grows back and has to be treated again and again until it does’nt grow anymore I had understud that once you remove it it dies is she right and if so how many times do I need to treat the same heair to get rid of it?
laser is temporary. electrolysis is permanent.
cost depends where you go. yes it hurts.
does it hurt and how much money doe s it cost
Yes and no. Some people laser is permanent sometimes it isn’t. Electrolysis if done right is always permanent.
I did research and some people laser works forever and others for maybe a year. I dont want to spend thousands of dollars on a treatment that wont work.
Laser doesn’t work- I tried it. was the perfect candidate-no excuse-it just didn’t work. and it is not guaranteed to be permanent. If only I had money for electrolysis now!
mbey it cus of wat she just sed in the vid…lazer doesnt work on lighter/blonde or thin hair. or lighter skin etc ..wheras electrolysis does…i think ….mbey thats y it didnt work on u…but u mite not have light hair..or watever i dnt know… it might depend on the person…but is it actually PERMENANT?
wt is the diffrnce btween lazer and electrolysis…?
Don’t even think about lazer! It doesn’t work, I wasted a ton of money with no lasting results. For that area, spend the extra time / money and get it done right! Electrolysis all the way!
Can you repeat that? How deep my insertion should be? This is the bikini area right?
