I’ve heard that the best candidates have fair skin and thick, dark hair; I fit that description. I hear DJs on the radio raving about it but I don’t know anyone who has actually done it. I would LOVE to be done shaving my legs but I can’t find anyone talking about how great it is that wasn’t paid to say that… Just wondering if anyone has had good or bad experiences with it!

it’s amazing and works wonders! within my second treatment i already cut down on shaving massively! i love it!!
I had it for hair on my body that I didn’t want. It hurt like a MOTHER, I had to go back 4 times, it cost thousands of dollars, and after 4 times they told me I had to come back 4 MORE times- it all grew back. Your legs would cost $7500 because of all the angles, and the pain is unbelievable. You’d be way better off to just continue shaving.
Of course now a days beauticians using laser treatment for various purpose like pimple treatment hair removal etc… its good one but all you have to that find a good and perfect laser treatment beauticians other wise it will become some problems also…….

THE BEGINING IS VERY NICE N ROSY……UR HAIR GROWTH REDUCES…BUT MIND YOU…….YOU WILL NOT GET RID OF SHAVING…AFTER SOMETIME YOU WILL HAVE TO START SHAVING OR WAXING AGAIN….
I AM NOT HAPPY WITH IT……..

It seems that it can cost $500 for a full treatment so it would want to work. The Mayo Clinic says it can sting and you need to take care with the relevant areas for some weeks. It can have some side effects so speak with your doctor before you do it. It does work but only for some people so I’d have a good talk with your doctor. The treatment lasts for six months.

always check with a doctor first to see if the laser treatment will affect your hormones or not, laser treatment isnt for everyone.
and yes it only hurts a little bit , but you can still walk.

Does it hurt?
This varies from person to person depending on their sensitivity. Some have described the sensation to a slight sting on the skin. Others say it feels like a pinch on the skin.
Is it safe?
Yes. The laser uses a wavelength of light which passes through the skin. Unlike x-rays, there is no residual left in the body.
Skin may appear pink or red after treatment. This disappears – in some cases after some minutes, in other cases after a few hours, or in still other cases, a few days. Use of cold packs will speed up the recovery time.
it is permanent…after a long time of treatments. i have had one bad experience my first try. got third degree burn/scabs on my face. at a new place i have done 2 – 3 treatments per year for the last probably 3 years. Most all of the dark hair has not grown back. you have to remember that hair grows in two to three stages, so you may not catch everything at one time. the darker your hair and lighter the skin the better. do not go and get a tan right when you are having the treatment.
the laser treatment feels like somebody is snapping a tight , rubber band against your skin. you have the option of using a skin numbing cream, which I don’t use, because it was the cause of my burns the first time. So I just take an alleve before I go. I feel that it is less painful than waxing. your skin should be red or bright pink when you are done and should clear up shortly after with use of ice pack. my doctor always tells me to call if I get any sort of scabbing. It is weird after the treatment is done, because it is not like electrolosys where they take the hair out. you still have to let the hairs grown/fall out on their own.
cost of treatment for my face and neck is around 450 a treatment.
I would absolutely recommend it to everybody. But try to go to a a dermatologist who is a licensed doctor.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

actually, i saw this news on the television some months ago where this gorgeous lady decided to undergo laser hair removal. she ended up with (OMG!) zebra-like legs. she doesn’t wear bikinis anymore. no kidding. her legs were covered with zebra skin-like scars. it was said that the doctor who did it turned the temperature(?) of the machine too high which totally damaged her legs. poor girl.
