What brand is this machine? I don't believe the machine will have a dangerously high setting. If it is 'high' for this brand of machine, she could have possibly set it this high because you have alot of hair or your hair is thick or long. If you can, give me more details. I would say ask the other nurses who do the treatments, and use common sense when listening to them. There is a lot of ripping people off in the field off laser hair removal because it's new and people haven't done research on it before going to have it done. Good luck!
