Kaycie M asked:
Did it leave scars? Was it permanent? How expensive was it?
And is laser hair removal the same as electrolysis
If not, how well does electrolysis work?

There are three so called permanent hair removal techniques which are electrolysis, laser, and photo epilation or pulsed laser.
There are risks associated with all three methods which is why they must be carried out by a licensed hair removal specialist.
Electrolysis removes hair one follicle at a time by inserting a thin probe into the follicle and sending a small electrical impulse through it. As well as taking a long time to complete, it is painful and if not done correctly, can leave you with scarring and infection.
Laser hair removal is relatively painless when compared with electrolysis and works by permanently destroying the hair follicle so that it cannot grow back. It is only recommended for folks with light skin and dark hair. If you have dark or tanned skin, laser hair removal is not advisable.
Photo epilation or pulsed laser uses a pulsing light beam to kill hair follicles and is quite effective for unwanted hair under the arms and around the bikini area. It can be carried out on anybody, regardless of hair or skin color.
All three methods are expensive!
