I’ve been told by a nurse who does laser hair removal that it’s not permanent and he said that it’s only about 70%- 80% effective. Apparently 20%-30% of the hair keeps coming back. You have to get your hair lasered every six months or so depending on skin and hair type. This can become very expensive. So is there a permanent solution?

I believe SOME laser hair removal is permanent. There are many diff types (eg: IPL) of lasers & best results on pale skin with dark hairs. The 2 beauty clinics I’ve had treatments at have produced very noticeable permanent results on me.
I have had 2-4 treatments done to 3 diff areas and I believe it has definitely produced some permanent results. 3 treatments were done to 1 particular area about 10yrs ago & i havent noticed any more new hair growing there.
They generally recommend 4-8 treaments per area, as hair grows in 3 diff stages so even though hair is there, may not be actively growing (still attached to follicle). Only affects the actively growing hairs.
It is very costly though & can be painful so you may want to ask about pain relief gels.
