She is a sister of my friend and it is her own machine and spa, I am wondering if she isnt following the ethical rules of the laser removal technique and is giving me a dangerous and unnecessary high laser dose to get me finished off sooner… since I paid a flat rate for garaunteed results.
The machine is LPL Mcue (or Maccue)

I get laser hair removal. I’ve been going for the past two years and have had over 20 treatments. I feel like only 30-40% of the hair is gone. I have complained to the place I go to because they claimed in the beginning that you only need like 6 treatments. Now, they are saying, oh everyone’s different don’t worry. But I am worried because my contract is almost over and I paid like $3,000.
So, my question is has anyone had laser removal, and if so how long and how many sessions did you have, and did it work. Also, can you tell me your skin tone and hair color because I hear it doesn’t work as good on darker tones. My tone is medium and I have black hair.
Thanks in advance and I’ll pick best answer.
by the way I go to American Laser Centers, and supposedly lots of people go there and I’ve even seen people on TV going there, so it is a reputable place, but they are starting to get on my nerves. Anyone else go to American laser?

I am 16 year old girl, blonde, and pale. but i have a very very unfortunate inheritance of my mother legs. After shaving, my hair grows back black (looks very disgusting on my white legs) and prickly within less than a day.
I want to try waxing or laser hair removal (i know laser removal is more expensive) but i honestly need to get rid of this hair. it has gotten to the point that it is physically painful.
the problem is, laser hair removal is wayyy to expensive. but my mom said she has already tried waxing and her hair grew back in a week. plus, i also inherited her extremely sensitive legs (as in i get rashes from lotions and whatnot).
Any tips? any ideas? please? i need to do something about this.

Would you recommend laser hair removal on a darker complexion? I’ve been doing some research and they say dark-skinned people are not the best canidates for laser hair removal. Any advise? Has anyone that’s dark skinned ever had a laser removal?
